Psychedelic Mushrooms 101 - This 4 part series is a beginners guide to psychedelic mushrooms for mental and spiritual sovereignty. Each session is formatted in cycles of short presentations, followed by journaling, then group reflections. In the first session, “Psychedelic Mushrooms and Ways to Connect”, we will learn about the biology and pharmacology of psychedelic mushrooms. We will then discuss how and why folx have communed with the mushrooms ancestrally, historically, scientifically, and personally. In the last 3 sessions, “Pre-integration”, “The Experience”, and “Post Integration,” we will learn and journal about what to consider before, during, and after a psychedelic mushroom experience.   

Disclaimer: While attending this series, we will not be discussing how to source psychedelic mushrooms, or where or how to find underground guides or experiences.

Dr Tavasi (They/She) is the founder of Tavasi Labs, a research and education lab promoting health and wellness sovereignty for BIPOC folx through the art of nature. Current community offerings include medicinal mushroom cultivation workshops, education, consultation, community lab development, and coaching for folx new to psychedelic medicine.
