About the event
The Well Virtual Retreat Center Presents
PLEASE NOTE: This series is solely for those who identify as Black.
Living Funeral Experience - The Living Funeral Experience (Ceremony) is a 2-hour guided meditation and memorial created to give participants a meaningful and transformative experience encouraging a celebration of life rather than a fear of death. This intensely personal and potentially challenging session offers a mindful way to confront your own mortality while gaining acceptance and understanding of your life as a whole.
This experience requires some preparation on the part of both the participant and the facilitator. From the moment you register, the ceremony begins whether you’re conscious of it or not. No special preparation is requited on your part, but you may find aspects of your life in sharper. For this reason, and more, this is not a last minute “drop-in” experience. Late arrivals and walk-ins will NOT be admitted.
