Foundations of New Orleans and Mississippi Hoodoo - Join Keyoncé for the transformative workshop, "Foundations of New Orleans and Mississippi Hoodoo," led by a native Mississippian with deep roots in both New Orleans and Mississippi. With over five generations of family history in New Orleans and personal experiences in the city, Keyoncé brings a unique perspective to the exploration of hoodoo.  As an initiate to Ifa Isese, a seasoned tarot reader with 15 years of experience, and an astrologer, Keyoncé offers a comprehensive understanding of Hoodoo spiritual practices and their cultivation in New Orleans and Mississippi. They also delve into the significance of water in hoodoo and black spirituality, uncovering the sacred connections and rituals associated with this element.  We will also explore key herbs, spirits, and saints central to New Orleans Voodoo and Mississippi Hoodoo, delving into their historical and cultural contexts. Through engaging discussions, you will gain insights into how the histories of New Orleans, Louisiana, and Mississippi have shaped the unique traditions of hoodoo in the region.  Furthermore, we will address the distinctions between Voodoo and Hoodoo, highlighting their differing practices and belief systems.
