About the event

The Well Virtual Retreat Center Presents

 -  Is a creative process for social change from Studio Pathways inspired by the work of artist Adia Millett.  Breaking Patterns sparks our understanding of pattern making as culture making. And contemporary culture making is social transformation.  In the realms of education and in our own lives we can acknowledge and tend to the patterns we play out in our lived experiences both personal and collective.  Breaking Patterns is an entry point experience that guides participants through the introductory work of identifying, understanding, breaking and creating patterns.  This process supports an introspective look at barriers and habits as well as established systems born from white colonial and patriarchal decrees.  Do Your Lessons Love Your Students?
