Destruction and Creation Reiki - August 14 marks the 232nd anniversary of Bois Caïman where enslaved Africans in Haiti gathered to plan the Haiti Revolution. This Reiki workshop will tap into the power of Black collective rage as a catalyst for change. Where there is death and destruction, there is also life and creation.

Toya J Abdaraya (no pronouns) is a Black Trans Fat Disabled Reiki practitioner, tattoo artist, visual artist, author-poet, musician, lover-friend, and Child of the Earth born and raised in Lenapehoking with ancestral roots stretching through Ayití and West Africa. Follow Toya on IG: @toyajabdaraya
